A lot of places evoke tea as a metaphor for one thing or another. Me, personally I enjoy the small changes in experience different teas make and the fact that time and seasonal effects can affect the flavor makes each tea by different makers unique. I think that's why I enjoy the indie web, people are free to make the experience of their website unique.
